Sixth Grade Science

Utilizing the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework, this course introduces students to key Earth and space science topics that foster understanding of concepts like plate tectonics, weather, and Earth's place in the solar system. Using a three-dimensional, standards-aligned approach, students explore real-world phenomena through hands-on investigations, digital simulations, modeling, and engineering challenges, building critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Seventh Grade Science

Utilizing the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework, this course introduces students to key Life Science topics that foster understanding of concepts like metabolism, genetic traits, populations, resources, and natural selection. Using a three-dimensional, standards-aligned approach, students explore real-world phenomena through hands-on investigations, digital simulations, modeling, and engineering challenges, building critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Eighth Grade Science

Utilizing the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework, this course introduces students to key physical science topics that foster understanding of concepts like force and motion, phase changes, chemical reactions, and forms of energy. Using a three-dimensional, standards-aligned approach, students explore real-world phenomena through hands-on investigations, digital simulations, modeling, and engineering challenges, building critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
