Arts: Media and Visual
The Visual Arts Program at CLP offers several courses for students.  

6th Grade

Students study the basics of drawing, painting, and sculpture.  

7th and 8th Grade

7th and 8th students can take Art 1, Art 2 and Pottery/Sculpture.  

Art 1 focuses on drawing and painting skills as well as an introduction to impressionism and surrealism styles. 

Art 2 introduces lessons in watercolor, printmaking, collage, and graphic design. 

Pottery and Sculpture gives students the opportunity to learn craftsmanship in ceramics including all major hand building skills as well as wheel throwing.  Paper mâché and other sculpture materials are also used in Pottery and Sculpture.
