Winter Sports 2025 to 2026

Registration is open for Girls Basketball and Boys and Girls Wrestling

PSD Winter sports seasons officially began January 6!

No registration is required for the optional camp week in January.  However, students must be registered, paid in full in School Pay, and have a current physical on file before participating in tryouts.

Girls' basketball (7th and 8th grade girls) optional camp begins 1/6/2026.  Tryouts are 1/12, 1/13, and 1/14, with practice every day after that.  Camp, tryouts, and practice will run 2:45-4:45 each week day.

Wrestling for girls and boys in grades 6, 7 and 8 will have optional camp starting on 1/6 with tryouts on 1/12, 1/13, and 1/14.  Practice will continue each week day after that.  Times for camp, tryouts and practice will be 2:45 to 4:45.

Sports at CLP Middle School

Register by completing the three steps listed below.

This is a three-step process that takes time. Please plan accordingly. 

Step One: Athletic Registration

Registration begins for all athletic seasons July 1st. You no longer need to wait for each season to register. Registration will close at the start of each sports season.

Step Two: After registration you will also need to complete payment in SchoolPay.

Step Three: Have a physical form signed by a physician. Physicals are good for one calendar year. Please have this Sports Physical form signed by a Physician at your visit.

 Some fees could be reduced or waived if you qualify. Free and Reduced Fee Waiver

*Home school students or students who attend a school that does not offer middle school athletics will be placed upon request per the PSD Placement Guidelines.  Interested parents must contact the PSD Athletic office at 970-490-3332 to request formal athletic placement.

PSD Health Center and Sports Physicals

The Health and Wellness Center at Lincoln Middle School and Centennial High School offers sports physicals/well child exams June through August. The Center can bill your insurance, and no child is ever turned away for inability to pay. 

The Little Clinic at King Soopers on North College has walk in times and appointments available for physicals, as well.
