Yearbook and Digitial Photography

Yearbook

In this course students will gain skills in page design, advanced publishing techniques, copywriting, editing, and photography while producing a creative, innovative yearbook which records school memories and events. There is an emphasis on journalism skills in this class. Participants gain useful, real-world skills in time management, marketing, teamwork, and design principles.

Digital Photography

This one-semester course introduces middle school students to the fundamentals of digital photography. Students will explore the technical and artistic aspects of photography, including camera settings, composition, lighting, and photo editing. Through hands-on activities, students will develop their skills in capturing visually compelling images and understanding photography’s role as a form of creative expression.
